Method
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- Place the crispy rice cereal in a large mixing bowl.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter gently.
- Add the marshmallow fluff and stir continuously until smooth and fully melted.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and optional salt.
- Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal and mix quickly until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and gently press into an even layer.
- Let cool for 30 minutes, then cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Use low heat to keep the texture soft
- Do not over-press the mixture
- Grease your hands or spatula to avoid sticking
- Best enjoyed fresh within 2–3 days
